MiniFFC #46 Workshop

MiniFFC is short for Mini Form Function & Class. It is the smaller, more informal version of Form Function & Class, our annual web design conference where hobbyist & professional web designers can gather, share experiences, and mingle with fellow colleagues.
The MiniFFC Workshop is composed of 2 tracks
- Web Design for Beginners
- Collaborative Design Systems for Intermediate
Mentors will be PWDO members and volunteers.
The event is open to all. See you in iAcademy on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Tickets release schedule:
- February 1 opening of registration
- No walk-in registration
Registration ends March 15.
Talk and Workshop:
Speaker – Jeian Nueva for Web Design Workshop
Jeian is a PWDO Member and an active Student Leader at iAcademy.
This workshop will teach beginners how to build basic website/s from HTML, CSS, and JS from scratch.
Speaker 2 – Mark Lacsamana for Collaborative Design Systems Workshop
Mark is a former FFC speaker and a PWDO Member.
This workshop teaches teams on how to get people on the same page when starting or creating design systems and creating principles to help keep everyone unified on a design system.
Skillset required: Developers, Designers, Marketers, Product Managers.
Schedule:
- 12:30 to 1 PM: Registration
- 1 to 3 PM: Workshop Proper
- 3 to 3:30 PM: Afternoon Break
- 3:30 to 4:30 PM: Workshop Proper
- 4:30 to 5 PM Question and Answer
- 5 PM: Class photo and closing
