1. 2024 Directory
A critical agenda item was the completion of the 2024 Directory by all member organizations. The directory serves as a comprehensive resource for networking and collaboration within the community. Failure to complete this task by January 31, 2024, may result in the removal of organizations from the roster.
2. Membership Guidelines Ratification
Member organizations participated in voting for the ratification of membership guidelines. Each organization, including Angular Philippines, AWS User Group Philippines, and others, had the opportunity to express approval or disapproval.
3. Guidelines for Handling Violations
To maintain a healthy community environment, guidelines were discussed on how to address and potentially remove members or organizations violating the community’s code of conduct.
4. Steering Committee Elections
The community looked ahead to the upcoming Steering Committee Elections scheduled for February 2024, emphasizing the importance of leadership transitions for continued growth.
Monthly Meetup Host Organizations
The community outlined a tentative schedule for monthly meetups, with organizations proposing topics for discussion. Highlights include the AWSUG & AWSUG BuildHers hosting in May 2024 and GDG Cloud Manila taking the lead in September 2024.
Upcoming Events
The meetup also served as a platform to announce upcoming events by member organizations, such as the AWS Re-Invent Recap by AWSUG on January 25, 2024, and GDG Cloud Manila’s International Women’s Day celebration on February 26, 27, or 28.

- A revisit of the original vision and mission of the Philippine Tech Communities Lead Group.
- An annual retrospective to assess the impact made by the community.
- Ely proposed drafting a retrospective survey for organizations to gather valuable feedback.

- A sub-committee was suggested to oversee the website revamp.
- An updated list of possible venues for meetups.
- A survey to determine the best day of the week for the monthly meetup.
